Vincent Launch 'Shadows' W/ Assemble The Empire, The Nest Itself, Dear Plastic

Blending ambient, progressive and post-hardcore rock, Melbourne’s Vincent launch their debut concept driven single and video for Shadows at The Evelyn on May 3. Produced by Samuel K (Gatherer, Closure in Moscow) and directed by Sean T Barnes (Seja, The Vasco Era) Shadows is a fusion of music and storytelling that unveils the beginnings of a stellar saga. Supporting on the night will be the dynamic post-punk of Assemble the Empire, having just returned from a wildly successful South East Asia tour, the atmospheric, passionate rock of Sharp Sharp Pretty, and powerful instrumental music and projections from The Nest Itself.

When delivering a live show, Shortfall have one goal in mind. Play loud, aggressive rock with a killer stage presence to boot. Every Shortfall show promises a performance with 110% energy. They will be launching their debut EP 'Falling Awake' at the Evelyn Hotel on 19 April with three killer supports. Pretty Dulcie with their fist pumping rock and front lady who redefines the words rock and roll. Interstate alternative rock trio Hawkai (SA) who are making their first appearance east of the border. Theirs will be a show that should not be missed. Completing the lineup are Melbourne based hard rockers Lung whose energy and aggression on stage are fast catching the eyes and ears of the Melbourne Alternative Rock scene.

The ‘One Day’ Project is a committee of devoted music maniacs that want to give back to the community by producing benefit events to celebrate and make aware of the people that are less fortunate. Our first show is an Autism Benefit on Sunday March 31st 2013 at the Evelyn Hotel with a stellar line up of some of Melbourne’s heavy, hard and best: Frankenbok, Dreadnaught, King Parrot, Wolfpack, Heaven The Axe, Bronson, Don Fernando and The Charge. All proceeds raised for this event will go directly to the amazing people at Amaze - Autism Victoria.
