What’s the best thing about being in your band?
The best thing is when people come and say to you that you've inspired them in some way and when people sing your songs back to you.
And the worst?
The worst is being the only girl and having to deal with constant farting, snoring and other gross things boys get up to.
Where would you most like to perform that you haven’t already been to?
I'd love to play at the 02 (the enormodome where dad Steve played with Iron Maiden just last weekend... - fact-obsessed Ed)
Was it a bad thing for Judas Priest to appear on American Idol?
No I don't think so, they are at the stage where they can pretty much do whatever they want and not worry about it. That was actually Richie's (Faulkner, Lauren's old solo band guitarist) first ever gig with Priest and is was to 30 million people. I don't think that can ever be a bad thing.
Who or what first alerted you to the fact that you’d like to be a musician?
Probably both my mum and my dad, cos I used to drive everyone crazy singing around the house.
Who would win in a fight between a badger and a baboon? Why?
Definitely the Baboon, their arses are scary enough to make anything want to run away.
Motley Crue or Nirvana?
They're both awesome but I'd have to say Nirvana, they were more my era but I did get into Motley later on.
A genie grants you 24 hours as a member of another band – who do you join?
I'd love to join Guns N Roses but back when they were Guns N Roses. They're one of my favourite bands.
Are Cds a dead medium for music delivery?
No I think there are a lot of people who still support CD's and like having a physical copy of an album. They're now a collectors item rather than a necessity to play music.

What sort of music can you absolutely not abide?
I really can't deal with Trance, I just hate it.
Which of your songs would you like the cast of Glee to record?
Glee is actually a guilty pleasure of mine, I love the cheese. I'd love them to do a song of ours called Jekyll and Hyde, cos its a rocker and pretty fast so that could be interesting.
What one item of non-musical equipment can you not do without on tour?
My laptop and my mobile phone, i know thats 2 items but I really couldn't be without either.
