I’d been eyeballing this gig for a while. Four established thrash bands on one bill for only 35.

Fatal Embrace - Empires of Humanity (Metal Blade/Riot)

Veteran Germans long on talent but short on originality return for some more heads-down, no nonsense mindless boogie.

The trouble, of course, is that it’s all so derivative. Good, but derivative.

Kreator thrashed the fuck out of a smallish Adelaide audience on Sunday night, showing us exactly how thrash should be played: fast, intense, and without compromise. They were ably supported by Aussie thrash icons Mortal Sin.
