A night of speed-infused heaviness, invoking a party some atmosphere amongst bands and fans alike. Told early on this was no ordinary concert: this was a party, all three bands, Shadows Fall, DevilDriver and Lamb of God, performed with enthusiasm encouraging revellers to a frenzy.

Lamb of God, DevilDriver, Shadows Fall and High on Fire @ Festival Hall (Melbourne) 15 Dec 09

Festy Hall once again hosted a mini-American festival Down Under, brimming with hot, sticky and hungry-for-metal maniacs. Oh, and let's not forget Metal Santa...

Lamb of God, DevilDriver and Shadows Fall Australian Tour 2009

This mind blowing triple bill of metal titans could not be complete without Massachusetts finest, Shadows Fall. Combining honest integrity and violent brutality into one frightening package, they continue to push the boundaries with their distinctive mix of bone-splintering aggression and melodic nuance.
