Avulsed ink US deal with Ibex Moon for forthcoming album

Avulsed has without any doubt been the most veteran and consistent band in the Spanish extreme metal scene since its inception in August 1991. A band loyal to its death metal style, Avulsed has been very active in terms of releases and live performances around the world.

Beginning with 1992’s Embalmed in Blood demo, Avulsed had released several demos, EPs, and four full-length albums, the last of which, 2005’s Gorespattered Suicide, was mixed and mastered by Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, ex-Morbid Angel) at Mana Recording Studios. In 2005, Reanimations was released, which included two new songs, a song from the first demo, three cover songs (W.A.S.P., Gorefest, and Exodus), and eight bands paying tribute to Avulsed by covering eight of the now legendary Spanish band’s songs. The Reanimating Russia 2007 DVD was released the following year.

Avulsed is now pleased to announce the release of its highly anticipated fifth full-length album, Nullo (The Pleasure of Self-Mutilation), on Ibex Moon Records in the United States.

The album is unquestionably the band’s most aggressive and catchiest collection of death metal songs to date. The album was first released in June 2009 on Xtreem Music and Metal Age Productions in Europe, and in Russia by Coyote Records. In Mexico/Central America the album will be released by American Line Productions and in South America by Sylphorium.
