Ravage signed by Metal Blade

Boston thrash/power metal act Ravage have joined the mighty Metal Blade ranks.

The heavy metal band Ravage began as the idea of two young brothers from Boston Massachusetts, whom fans would come to know as Al Ravage and Eli Joe, who wished to form a band that could bring bombastic heavy metal back to prominence, and crush the insipid alterna-grunge music craze of the mid-90s.

Though the barely-high school-aged rockers had mighty ambitions when they played their first gig in 1996, they quickly learned that Rome was not built in a day, and the band had to work on honing its sound and forging its way through the local underground metal scene. Now in their early 20s, Ravage is ready to show the metal world what they’re made of, with their Metal Blade debut The End of Tomorrow, which will be released this northern summer.

Metal Blade stated:

'Ravage brings a fresh element to pure metal conveying a young and modern vibe to old school thrash/power metal. It’s this type of musical resurrection that will break new ground for metal and we couldn’t be more excited to unleash them to the masses!'

The band's new album seamlessly intertwines the sounds of New Wave of British Heavy Metal, late 80s American Thrash Metal and late 90s European power metal to showcase the band's signature style.
