Trident confirm first US show

Swedish death metal outfit Trident have confirmed their first ever show in North America.

Invading Brooklyn on Saturday, October 2nd, Trident are set to devastate NYC-area diehards at a special one-off US appearance at Club Europa. This will be the only North American live action for Trident for 2010, but it will serve as a taste of what is to come.

Says bassist Alexander Friberg of the concert, 'We are proud to finally be able to show people of NY the might of Trident, and all of you should be prepared to face a storm of Nordic rage!'

Trident are still supporting their full-length debut World Destruction, which was released on extreme metal label Regain Records in March of this year. A total sonic whirlwind of blistering, blackened death metal, the ten-track album was recorded at Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden, with engineers Andy LaRocque (King Diamond) and Nico Elgstrand (Entombed) at the helm.

The Trident horde features metallians Johan Norman (Soul Reaper, Dissection) and Ewo Solvelius on guitars, Alexander Friberg (Necrophobic, Karneywar) on bass, Tobias Sidegård (Necrophobic) on vocals and Jonas Blom (Grief of Emerald) handling drum duties.
