Wacken Open Air, the world’s largest heavy metal festival has sold all tickets – for the fifth year in a row! 75,000 metal fans will converge on the small town of Wacken in Germany between August 5 and 7 for three days of metal and mayhem, with five stages, a metal market, the Wackinger medieval village, Bullhead City wrestling tent, Beergarden, and much more.
Headliners for 2010 include the mighty Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Slayer and Mötley Crüe – on top of a line-up of over 90 bands, including 1349, Arch Enemy, Candlemass, Cannibal Corpse, Despised Icon, Evile, Fear Factory, Gojira, Immortal, Kataklysm, Overkill, Rotting Christ, Solstafir, Soulfly, U.D.O., Unleashed, Voivod and W.A.S.P.
Punters still hoping to score tickets are advised that an official ticket swap, where tickets are checked for authenticity and available for original price only - will be set up on the official Wacken web site.
