Our Last Enemy Recruit A New Comrade

"This is the tightest and most powerful version of our line-up yet!"

Sydney industrial metal demons Our Last Enemy have announced a new line-up and have fans drooling in anticipation of the bands Canberra assault at Shananigans 6 scheduled for February 2013.

New drummer Zot (Ink/Anxiety Whispers) has joined Oliver (vocals) Matt (bass) and Bizz (guitar) in a move which will see the bands former drummer Jeff move to keys/samples. The band has been rehearsing steadily for the last few months while keeping things under wraps. With Zot and Oliver already holding a strong working relationship previously playing together in Anxiety Whispers, 2013 is set to be the biggest year yet boasts the band, with several considerable announcements to follow in the next few months. Chatting with the boys recently, it is quickly identified that Our Last Enemy are extremely satisfied the way the band is sounding with the new line-up, “Zot brings a strong driving force to our already groove heavy, industrial- metal vibe. Jeff has always had a strong interest and hand in the electronic side of things, and has been waiting for the right opportunity to step up to the plate. This is the tightest and most powerful version of the line-up yet!” states an eager Bizz.

Zot is no stranger to the stage; after a nostalgic reunion show for Anxiety Whispers both Zot and Oli found themselves sparking a musical connection thought dormant for several years. Zot is primed and ready to bring a host of flavours to the forefront of Our Last Enemy “Not only am I looking forward to bringing my hard hitting drumming style to the table, I'm looking forward to working closely with Jeff so that together him and I can create a uniquely sounding fusion of both electronic and acoustic beats slammed together”.

Our Last Enemy debuts the new line-up with a headline slot at Shananingans 6 in Canberra Friday Feb 15th and in Sydney the following week on Friday Feb 22nd for the benefit show “Bloodrock” to raise money for dear friends who are fighting the good fight against illness.
