Triumvirate of Aussie heavy acts hit the East Coast in March & April 2015

The tour will hit Geelong, Bendigo, Melbourne, Sydney, Penrith, Brisbane and the Gold Coast in a bid to destroy minds and eardrums. They will be joined by local supports and more on the tour.

A triumvirate of hell-heavy metal bands is hitting the Australian East Coast this March and April, in a three way assault on the ears of metal fans. Perth's Tempest Rising, Sydney's Red Bee and Newcastle's Let the Number Be X have joined forces. Collision Course PR presents the tour that starts in Victoria in March and moves up the coast and finishes in mid-April.

2014 saw Western Australia's most brutal heavy metal sons, Tempest Rising, piece together what was an undeniably epic piece of melodic metal for their debut album, Transmutation. They worked their way slowly and surely towards the release of their debut album. The band released their first EP in 2012 - Calm Before the Storm and 2 years on, they have released and toured two singles in the lead up to this, their massive first album. The band's work ethic, high-energy stage show and their unique style of metal has seen them support and tour with some of the Australia's most talented metal bands such as Voyager, Chaos Divine, Sydonia, Frankenbok, Desecrator, King Parrot, Psycroptic, Caligulas Horse and Breaking Orbit. They have also toured Japan with black metal legends Marduk and Carach Angren.

Lying somewhere between the fuzzy borders of punk, hard rock, prog and metal, Red Bee is Daniel Silk (vocalist/guitarist), Jim Silk (bassist) and Ian Dunn (drummer). From a young age, brothers Daniel and Jim have shared a deep musical connection through their love of the dark, genre-defying works of an eclectic range of artists, including The Dillinger Escape Plan, Mr Bungle, Stanley Kubrick, Hunter S. Thompson and Charles Bukowski. With the introduction to Ian Dunn, they found a third brother with aligned inspirations and a common purpose: to forge new musical boundaries. Red Bee will have new music in the next few weeks to coincide with the tour.
In a day and age where electronica has become the most ubiquitous genre to exist, there are very few bands like Let The Number Be X. When electronica / rock / industrial / dance / hardcore' are mentioned within a bands genre description, it usually ends with disheartening fan fare, rather than rewarding results. Let The Number Be X, have quickly been hailed as the exception to the rule. LTNBX are continually pushing the boundaries of modern technology, surpassing any of their peers, and delivering award winning results. Many critics praising the groups innovation, technicality and audacious approach to the modern rock music formula.
