BIGSOUND Festival 2017

This year sees a gazillion (yes, literally a gazillion) artists, speakers and industry types descend on the Valley from the 5th to the 9th of September for all manner of seminars, workshops, big fat live gigs, and all round shenanigans.

Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley will once again play host to the BIGSOUND Festival, now in its 16th year (Blimey, time flies, doesn’t it?). The BIGSOUND Festival 2017 has established itself as one of the biggest events in the Australian music industry calendar, and this year sees a gazillion (yes, literally a gazillion) artists, speakers and industry types descend on the Valley from the 5th to the 9th of September for all manner of seminars, workshops, big fat live gigs, and all round shenanigans.

Keynote speakers include heavy metal heavyweights Archie Roach and Tina Arena, as well representatives from MTV, Bandcamp, Triple M, and a hundred other music related companies, not for profits, and eat you up and spit you out capitalist dog ventures. There’s something for everyone – and there are a bunch of parties too (and surely there’s one with a free bar in there somewhere?).

Go to the BIGSOUND website, get your ticket/s, get down there and schmooze, baby, schmooze. Check out the website for a full itinerary of events because there are far too many for me to list here.

BIGSOUND FESTIVAL 2017 will be hosted at the Fortitude Valley Live Music Precinct from the 5th to the 9th of September. It will be huge. It will get messy.
