Grotesque - Feedback Loop (Independent)

Australian brutal death metal band Grotesque are finally back after a lengthy break from it all but it has been worth the wait with their release of FeedBack Loop out now independently.

FeedBack Loop is certainly for the hardhearted as how it starts is how it ends, with brutal riffs, vocals and rhythm with no loss of momentum. Like an out of control freight train this album is stopping for nothing to get their message across. They are back and better than ever!

With machine gun blasts, skull crushing but yet catchy riffs I think this album has a lot to offer regardless of your preferred genre.

Derived by Collisions is the first song to solidify impressions and this song was the right choice for the first out the gate as it sets up the rest of the album with great expectations as it includes all the brutality that they are currently offering.

Lyrically each song has a different theme and a different feel as the album plays chugs through like that locomotive of death I was referring to earlier, its not the same tripe you have heard before not the typically flogged death metal horse - no, no this is different. The unifying force blends with its experiences, from song Radii where humans impact on nature is forcing nature into a corner.

After a long time away I think this will launch Grotesque right back into the limelight. The bands previous albums left a great taste in their fans mouths; Feedback Loop will have them eager to listen, and maybe break some shit and for the ones that have forgotten - this album will quickly remind them...
