Blending ambient, progressive and post-hardcore rock, Melbourne’s Vincent launch their debut concept driven single and video for Shadows at The Evelyn on May 3. Produced by Samuel K (Gatherer, Closure in Moscow) and directed by Sean T Barnes (Seja, The Vasco Era) Shadows is a fusion of music and storytelling that unveils the beginnings of a stellar saga. Supporting on the night will be the dynamic post-punk of Assemble the Empire, having just returned from a wildly successful South East Asia tour, the atmospheric, passionate rock of Sharp Sharp Pretty, and powerful instrumental music and projections from The Nest Itself.
After the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Bleed The Way’ back in 2011, Orpheus is now ready to release their highly anticipated follow up, aptly titled, ‘Resillusion’. Over the last few years the band has juggernauted through the ranks of the Australian metal scene to become one of the most prominent young Melodic Death Metal bands around, recognized both locally and internationally. It is with a refined sound that the band will be officially launching their second album, ‘ResIllusion’ on May 4 at the Evelyn Hotel alongside Naberus, who will be launching their debut album, ‘Reveries’.

After an unfortunate chain of events resulting in their last Melbourne visit falling through, Sydney heavy metallers LORD are making their return with their fourth studio album, Digital Lies, now out in the world. Joining the celebration on the night will be Electrik Dynamite with their “epic harmonies, unforgettable melodies, 80’s keyboard flavoured pop hooks” and “timeless rock-god stage moves”, traditional heavy metal band Elm Street making their well overdue return to the live scene, and thrashers Mason and Sewercide opening the night.
