Tuska Open Air Metal Festival 2014

Missed out on other festivals Emperor is playing in 2014? Finland's Tuska Open Air still has tickets, and a deadly lineup over three days in the capital of Helsinki for a unique addition to your European Summer Festival plans.

This year heralds the 17th annual Tuska Open Air festival in Finland. Held at Suvilahti in Helsinki, Tuska Open Air rolls out the welcome mats on the afternoon of Friday the 17th of June to metalheads from all over the world. Held just after midsummer, when sunset is around midnight in Helsinki, the long summer days allow visitors to the festival to enjoy sunlit metal in the evenings and explore the Finnish capital during the day. 

Headlining the first night are Dimmu BorgirCarcass and Helsinki locals Children of Bodom. After parties all over Helsinki continue into the night, before the crowds trail back in on Saturday for acts such as AnthraxTankard, Bring Me The HorizonStone and Metal Church. Sunday brings a massive close to the three days with EmperorSatyriconNeurosisInsomnium and Orphaned Land.

Guests from out of town can find accomodation in Helsinki city, and public transport to the festival is readily available.
